Typically, we would meet on a weekly basis. Research suggests that weekly therapy sessions are often more beneficial than less frequent sessions, both financially and therapeutically.
A study published in 1999 found that individuals who attended weekly therapy sessions experienced faster symptom improvement and required fewer overall sessions compared to those who attended every other week. This means that while the initial cost per session might be higher, the overall cost of treatment can be lower due to quicker progress and fewer sessions needed.
